Hi, I’m Kelly.
I’m an HR Consultant at HR Gurus, bringing more than 15 years of experience across HR, recruitment and people advisory roles in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
I started my career in recruitment before moving into broader HR consulting and leadership roles, working with organisations including ANZ, Herbert Smith Freehills and BNP Paribas, where I ultimately led an HR consulting team.
That experience gave me a strong grounding in the serious end of HR – employee relations, recruitment, people management and helping leaders navigate the tricky stuff – but these days, I particularly love bringing that knowledge into the SME world.
I’m practical by nature. I like getting to know a business, understanding what is actually going on with its people and helping employers find solutions that work in the real world – not just on paper.
Recruitment is also a big part of my background, so I understand that good HR isn’t only about dealing with problems when they arise. It starts with getting the right people through the door in the first place, setting clear expectations and giving managers the confidence to lead them well.
